20.500.12556/RUL-174718 Doživljanje spremembe vzorca navezanosti v terapevtskem odnosu magistrsko delo Experience of a change in attachment pattern in therapeutic relationship Sprememba stila navezanosti iz ne-varnega v pridobljeno varnega lahko bistveno vpliva na kakovost posamezničinega življenja in njenih odnosov. Namen raziskave je bil preučiti doživljanje spremembe stila navezanosti v terapevtskem odnosu. S pomočjo metode interpretativne fenomenološke analize sem analizirala izkušnje treh udeleženk, ki so vstopile v terapevtski proces integrativne psihoterapije z različnimi oblikami ne-varnega stila navezanosti in v času terapije doživele spremembo v smeri pridobljeno varnega stila. Kljub začetnim razlikam v stilih navezanosti je bil splošen proces spremembe doživljajsko podoben pri vseh udeleženkah. Analiza je pokazala, da so udeleženke doživele tri faze terapevtskega procesa. Prva faza je vključevala vzpostavljanje terapevtskega odnosa, občutka varnosti in zaupanja. V drugi fazi so udeleženke začele terapevtko doživljati kot varno bazo. Udeleženke so se odprle za poglobljeno delo in intrapsihične spremembe in prišlo je do postopnega preoblikovanja relacijskih shem. Tretja faza je vključevala spremembe v odnosih zunaj terapije ter v doživljanju sebe in drugih. V tej fazi je prišlo do preoblikovanja stila navezanosti v smer pridobljenega varnega, kar se je izražalo v občutkih večje samostojnosti v odnosu s terapevtko ter izboljšani kakovosti drugih odnosov. Rezultati raziskave osvetljujejo doživljanje procesa spremembe stila navezanosti v psihoterapevtskem odnosu in poudarjajo pomembnost reparativne odnosne izkušnje. Odpirajo tudi nova vprašanja glede pridobljenega varnega stila navezanosti ter njegovega razlikovanja od neprekinjeno varnega stila navezanosti. A change in attachment style from insecure to secure can notably affect the quality of an individual’s life and relationships. The current study aims to investigate how change in attachment style in a therapeutic relationship is experienced. Using the framework provided by interpretative phenomenological analysis, the study closely examines the experiences of three participants who entered the therapeutic process of integrative psychotherapy with different insecure attachment styles and who experienced a change towards an earned secure attachment style during therapy. In spite of any initial differences in attachment styles, the process of change was overall experientially similar for all three participants. The investigation determined that the participants experienced three phases of the therapeutic process. The first phase involved establishing the therapeutic relationship, a sense of security, and trust. In the second phase, the participants began experiencing the therapist as a secure base; they opened up to in-depth work and intrapsychic changes, leading to a gradual transformation of relational schemas. Lastly, the third phase involved modifications in relationships outside of therapy and in the experience of self and others: in this phase, there was a transformation of attachment style towards earned secure attachment – which was expressed in feelings of greater independence in the relationship with the therapist – and an improved quality of other relationships. The results of this study shed light on how the process of changing attachment style in the psychotherapeutic relationship is experienced, with an emphasis on the importance of a reparative relational experience.
