Magistrsko delo to analizira na podlagi treh ciljev. Prvi cilj je umestitev športa v koncept mednarodnega režima. Drugi cilj je raziskati zgodovinski razvoj mednarodnega športnega režima in znotraj njega mednarodnega nogometnega režima skozi prizmo odnosov med Evropsko unijo in Evropsko nogometno zvezo. Tretji cilj pa je z uporabo koncepta mednarodnega režima in koncepta akter-struktura analizirati spremembo regulativne moči Evropske nogometne zveze ter normativnih sprememb režima. S študijo primera poskusa ustanovitve evropske superlige leta 2021 magistrsko delo preveri, kako je sodba Sodišča Evropske unije spremenila regulativno moč Evropske nogometne zveze kot ključnega akterja v režimu in kakšne posledice ima to za normativni okvir mednarodnega športnega režima. Magistrsko delo ugotovi, da sta regulativna moč in normativna moč akterjev neločljivo povezani ter da izguba regulativne moči akterja ne zagotavlja spremembe normativnega okvira mednarodnega režima. The Master's thesis analyses the impact of actors' regulatory power on the normative framework of the international sports regime and explores how the loss of such power affects change within the regime. This impact is analysed based on three objectives. The first objective is to place sport within the concept of international regime. The second objective is to analyse the historical development of the international sports regime and, within it, the international football regime through the prism of the relations between the European Union and the Union of European Football Associations. The third goal is to analyse the change in the regulatory power of the Union of European Football Associations and the normative changes of the regime using the concept of international regime and the principal-agent model. Based on a case study, i.e. the attempt to establish a European Super League in 2021, the Master's thesis examines how the Judgement of the Court of Justice of the European Union has changed the regulatory power of the Union of European Football Associations as a key actor in the regime, and what consequences this has had for the normative framework of the international sports regime.
