20.500.12556/RUL-132910 VLADIMIR NABOKOV PRENOS MOTIVNO-TEMATSKIH NIZOV IZ ČAROVNIKA V LOLITO magistrsko delo Transfer of motif-themed strings from The Enchanter to Lolita Magistrsko delo skuša prikazati motivno-tematsko prevezavo med deloma V. Nabokova Čarovnikom in Lolito. Deli sta iz različnih obdobij avtorjevega ustvarjanja, vendar je med njima konsistenta prevezava, ki med deloma ustvarja intertekstualni dialog. V prvem delu magistrskega dela avtorica umesti avtorja v literarni kontekst ter podrobno razdela prvo avtorjevo delo – Čarovnika. Znotraj dela podrobno predela pravljično strukturo, ki predvsem na Proppovi teoriji, navede vse osnovne motivno-tematske nize, opiše element »ponavljanja« vsebin znotraj dela kot specifičen avtorjev prijem ter v sklepni fazi prvega dela magistrske naloge povzame, zakaj delo Čarovnik ni le neuspel poskus Lolite, temveč samostojno literarno delo, ki zaznamuje specifično obdobje ustvarjanja Nabokova. V drugem delu magistrske naloge sledi opis okvirja nastanka dela Lolita ter podroben proces analize dela. Pristop k analizi se razlikuje, saj ne gre več za naštevanje ter poglabljanje v vse motivno-tematske nize, temveč samo v tiste, ki se intertekstualno zrcalijo s predhodno analiziranim Čarovnikom. Sledi podrobna primerjava dveh gradiv v motivno-tematskih sklopih. Izvede se primerjava motiva nimfetke, motiva poroke z materjo, motiva prometne nesreče ter motiva smrti matere ter v ozadju seveda primerjava konstantno prisotnega motiva romantičnih preferenc glavnega lika. The master's thesis presents the transfer of motif-themed strings between the works of V. Nabokov, The Enchanter and Lolita. The works are from different periods of the author's creation, but there is a consistent connection between them, which creates an intertextual dialogue. In the first part of the master's thesis, the author himself is placed in a literary context and the author's first work - The Enchanter, is further presented. Secondly, the fairly-tale structure, which is based mainly on Propp's theory, is introduced. Thirdly, all the basic motif-thematic sets are presented and the element of "repetition" of contents within the work, as a specific author's approach is described. Lastly, in the final phase of the first part, it is summarized why The Enchanter is not only a failed attempt of Lolita, but an independent literary work that marks a specific period of Nabokov’s creation. In the second part of the master's thesis, a description of the framework for the creation of Lolita and a similar process of work analysis are introduced. However, the approach to the analysis differs, as it is no longer a matter of listing and delving into all motive-thematic sets, but only into those that are intertextually mirrored with the previously analysed The Enchanter. Further, a detailed comparison of the two materials in the motif-thematic sections is presented.
