Different possibilities for choosing director rotations are examined and their relationships are cast in terms of the commutative diagram. The Newmark time-stepping schemes, making use of different rotation parameters, are then developed. The mid-point scheme modified to either conserve or dissipate the total energy is further examined. Several numerical simulations are presented to illustrate the performance of each developed scheme.</dc:description><dc:publisher>Elsevier</dc:publisher><dc:date>2003</dc:date><dc:date>2015-07-10 10:13:06</dc:date><dc:type>Neznano</dc:type><dc:identifier>32205</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>UDK: 624.074.4</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>ISSN pri članku: 0045-7949</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>COBISS_ID: 1916001</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>OceCobissID: 4419338</dc:identifier><dc:language>sl</dc:language></metadata>
