to fate, subjectivity, and the unconscious. Taking its cue from Freud’s concept
of the compulsion of destiny as it relates to Lacan’s radical reinterpretation of
the Aristotelian couple of automaton and tyche, the article examines the idea of
successful failure in psychoanalysis and its connection to fatalistic freedom. The
latter challenges traditional notions of freedom as choice and embraces a more
contingent and unpredictable understanding of fate.</dc:description><dc:date>2025</dc:date><dc:date>2026-04-29 09:47:40</dc:date><dc:type>Neznano</dc:type><dc:identifier>182181</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>UDK: 159.964.26:124.6</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>ISSN pri članku: 0555-2419</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>COBISS_ID: 275557891</dc:identifier><dc:language>sl</dc:language></metadata>
