It can benefit the Bangladesh Readymade Garments sector by enhancing global market access, and improving logistics and Foreign Direct Investment. In the context of a growing logistics infrastructure as part of the One Belt One Road (OBOR), this research paper analyses how improved logistics facilities due to the OBOR initiative may enhance productivity and ensure better international market access. It also raises such critical issues as the need for further progress on the infrastructure, technological enhancement and the addressing of potential trade imbalances. It considers social and environmental dimensions in the context of promising growth in the sector. This research offers strategic guidelines for the efficient use of energy sources while avoiding associated risks through the analysis of the opportunities and challenges related to the OBOR. For the most part, the latter is analytically identified as beneficial for the expansion of the Bangladeshi textile sector and for overall infrastructural development, especially in the area of exports. The findings may serve as a guide for stakeholders to actively engage in the industry, thus encouraging the highest potential growth, while maintaining their competitive advantage in the global apparel industry.</dc:description><dc:date>2026</dc:date><dc:date>2026-04-07 12:27:56</dc:date><dc:type>Članek v reviji</dc:type><dc:identifier>181431</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>UDK: 677</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>ISSN pri članku: 0351-3386</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>DOI: 10.14502/tekstilec.69.2025091</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>COBISS_ID: 274368515</dc:identifier><dc:language>sl</dc:language></metadata>
