The lack of adequate home care services, combined with regional differences in its accessibility and affordability, significantly affects the organisation and provision of care, particularly in caregiving dyads with low socioeconomic status. Due to their limited financial resources, these dyads are unable to bridge the formal care gap with private caregivers, exposing them to a higher risk of care poverty and highlighting the intersection between income and care poverty.
