abundant source of aromatics on Earth. Currently, the main application is for energy
purposes. However, lignin shows a high potential for the development of biomaterials to
replace fossil-based materials. To reach this goal, the lignin requires modification
functionalization processes to make it suitable for biomaterials production. This research
will focus on the modification of target lignin using tunable green solvents Deep Eutectic
Solvents (DES) allowing simplifying the process and making the process environmentally
friendly. Functionalization reactions will be performed in mild conditions (atmospheric
pressure and reaction temperature &lt; 100 °C), and the functionalized lignin will be
recovered using an antisolvent. The amount of recovered lignin will be determined, and
the chemical structure of the lignin will be studied using the FTIR technique. The effect
of the tunable green solvents on the functionalization of lignin will be evaluated.</dc:description><dc:date>2024</dc:date><dc:date>2024-09-10 09:35:01</dc:date><dc:type>Diplomsko delo/naloga</dc:type><dc:identifier>161353</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>VisID: 24205</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>COBISS_ID: 215923203</dc:identifier><dc:language>sl</dc:language></metadata>
