This study presents an experimental paradigm that incorporates physiological assessments and an Automatic Identification System (AIS) to improve safety. Comprehensive biometric data was collected to understand the correlation between participants' workload and physiological responses during the demanding phases of ship manoeuvres. The physiological parameters are recorded by the wristband sensor and sent to the navigation alarm system on the bridge and, if necessary, to the coastal station (Vessel Traffic Services) if the values are exceeded. Such a system can improve the safety and reliability of navigation during manoeuvring. The experimental design is in line with the maritime sector's smart navigation and electronics solutions, which are becoming increasingly important in the shipping industry. </dc:description><dc:date>2025</dc:date><dc:date>2025-12-02 12:17:38</dc:date><dc:type>Članek v reviji</dc:type><dc:identifier>176492</dc:identifier><dc:language>sl</dc:language></rdf:Description></rdf:RDF>
