Utilising 24 semi-structured, in-depth interviews with journalists and editors, media professionals’ experiences and perceptions regarding the integration of AI into their practices are studied. The results indicate that AI is employed for information gathering, translation, image verification, and news trend analysis. While identified advantages of AI include time optimisation and improved news quality, challenges persist, such as concerns about information accuracy and scepticism of technology. Journalists stress the need for manual verification and the irreplaceable role of the human factor in information security. The use of AI data to identify audience preferences also demonstrates an increase in the capacity of AI to deliver content that resonates with audiences. It is argued in the study that collaboration between AI and journalists is essential to ensure quality and accuracy in journalism.</dc:description><dc:date>2025</dc:date><dc:date>2025-11-06 14:53:12</dc:date><dc:type>Članek v reviji</dc:type><dc:identifier>175634</dc:identifier><dc:language>sl</dc:language></rdf:Description></rdf:RDF>
