This widely extends known methods from the literature developed for computing the number of $k$-matchings in benzenoid chains, octagonal chains, cyclooctatetraene chains, and arbitrary cyclic chains. Two examples demonstrating how the present method can be applied are given, one of them being an elaborated chemical example.</dc:description><dc:date>2026</dc:date><dc:date>2025-10-17 14:27:01</dc:date><dc:type>Članek v reviji</dc:type><dc:identifier>175139</dc:identifier><dc:language>sl</dc:language></rdf:Description></rdf:RDF>
