It provides a perspective on how these parties utilize migration, climate change, the war in Ukraine, inflation and liberal norms of the EU to advance their party popularity and affect the EU politics in line with their politico-ideological strategies. To that aim, the research resorts to the case study of the Freedom Party of Austria (FPÖ), as one of the most long-standing populist radical right parties in the Western Europe. By employing the discourse analysis, the Thesis delves into the data of the election campaign period pertaining to the 2024 and European elections, as the most recent election cycles on which the FPÖ achieved the historical electoral successes. It also discloses the footprint of the FPÖ’s populist discourse in the party’s EU politics and foreign policy agenda, particularly in the context of the right-wing sovereignism.</dc:description><dc:publisher>K.
