This thesis examines the impact of the Taliban regime on humanitarian aid operations, with a focus on how Taliban’s restrictive policies have affected the delivery, effectiveness, and accessibility of humanitarian assistance. Through in-depth interviews with Afghan men and women working in humanitarian sector within the country, the study explores key challenges, such as restrictions on women’s rights, systemic discrimination and atrocities against ethnoreligious minorities, like Hazaras, as well as operational barriers that hinder aid distribution, all of which contribute significantly to the increased vulnerability of the population. This shift has also led to a rise of the number of humanitarian aid beneficiaries. Furthermore, based on the analysis of primary data, the thesis addresses the funding and resource constraints as part of the international community’s response to the Taliban’s escalating human rights violations.</dc:description><dc:publisher>F.
