The mechanical analysis is a key step in the design of the electrical motors in addition to the electromagnetic and thermal analysis. In this thesis the distribution of the mechanical stress was examined for different geometrical parameters of the rotor and two different ferromagnetic materials of the rotor lamination at different rotational speeds. Special emphasis has been given to the accuracy of the numerical calculations of the mechanical stress concentrated in the rotor bridges. The appropriate finite element mesh density was generated to achieve accurate results. The obtained numerical results show that the mechanical stress strongly depends on the number of magnetic flux barriers, material properties of the rotor and rotational speed of the motor. Based on the results obtained in this thesis, recommendations are given for optimal mechanical loading of synchronous reluctance motors at different rotational speeds.</dc:description><dc:date>2023</dc:date><dc:date>2023-08-18 08:15:21</dc:date><dc:type>Diplomsko delo/naloga</dc:type><dc:identifier>148345</dc:identifier><dc:language>sl</dc:language></rdf:Description></rdf:RDF>
