We study the existence and multiplicity of solutions when the parameter ▫$\lambda &gt; 0$▫ is near the principal eigenvalue ▫$\hat{\lambda}_1(p) &gt; 0$▫ of ▫$(-\Delta_p,W^{1-p}_0(\Omega))$▫.
