work in the studied construction company. The aim of the thesis is to show the actual state
of employee motivation, to show how the studied company motivates its own employees,
and to figure out what type of motivation employees want. The purpose of the acquired
findings could help improve the organization's approach to motivating their employees
thereby increasing employee satisfaction and increased motivation in the performance of
their duties.
The thesis is based on a simple questionnaire survey which was conducted anonymously
between employees in different departments of the studied company. The survey was
intentionally conducted between several different departments within the company, as
this delivered a greater quantity of different opinions and the results were so much more
accurate. The study is based on 11 different issues and includes all the necessary data on
population, data on methods of motivation, and the employees’ wishes.
The same findings were largely expected upon completion of the survey. Different answers
were expected on some questions. The fact is that the studied company operates in the
construction sector. This means that most of the employees are male employees.
According to the responses of most respondents, the survey recognized salary increases as
the main method to perform better motivation in the future.

to improve methods of motivation in the part of the organization. The thesis offers
managers some ideas on how to motivate different types of employees, particularly in
