ANALIZA RAZVOJNIH UČINKOV 3. RAZVOJNE OSI NA KOROŠKO REGIJOGRILC, ANDREJ (Avtor) Pevcin, Primož (Mentor) 3. razvojna osKoroška regijahitra cestaSlovenian Carinthia has notoriously bad road connections with other Slovenian regions. Though the problem has received of a lot of public attention in past years, a real solution is yet to be achieved. As multiple studies suggest the construction of the 3. developmental axis would greatly benefit both the Carinthian region and Slovenia as a whole. In this work we used a descriptive method to familiarize the reader with the topic of the 3. developmental axis and analyze the potential benefits a new highway connection would bring to the Carinthian region. We presented the main attributes of the project and described its current state as simply as possible. We used an online survey to determine what the people from Carinthia and other regions think about the 3. developmental axis and how well they are informed about the current state of the project. In the course of our research we discovered some interesting facts. It is apparent that significant progress has been made in the past three years, which correspond to a significant step forward in the eventual completion of the project, that has been talked about for many years. Our analysis revealed that the realization of the project would have a lot of benefits for the Carinthian region and would aid greatly in its development.
