Introduction: There are different types of implant abutment production and various materials used for manufacturing. Implant abutment can be ready-made or individually adjusted to fit the patients oral state. They can be produced from titanium or from the aesthetically more suitable material zircon oxide.
Purpose: The thesis is to demonstrate the manufacturing of the individuall implants abutment from zircon oxide ceramics. As well as the demonstration of the restauration frame from the same material, the CAD/CAM method of production and the imaging documentation of the whole procedure.
Methods: Review of domestic and foreign literature using the method of analysis and comparison. Practical implementation in the dental laboratory and picture documentation of the manufacturing process.
Results: The manufacturing of individuall implantat abutment from zircon oxide ceramics and a restauration frame with the help of the CAD/CAM method as well as the manufacturing of a full ceramics. Furthermore, a full ceramics restauration with the facet ceramics. The thesis includes the description of the manufacturing process, images and a list of all used materials. The protetic care was performed on the upper right incisor.
Discussion and conclusion: The manufacturing of a individually adjusted zircon oxide ceramics restauration and a restauration frame with the help of the CAD/CAM method as well as the full ceramics restauration with the facet ceramics has a lot of advantages as well as some disadvantages. The technological equipment is comprised of an optical reader, scanner, with which a digital data image is captured. With the help of a computer and the CAD software an object is created, the material is selected as well as the spot in the zircon block. In the milling unit of CAM, the electronical data is transformed into a physical object. With the use of the CAD/CAM method the possibility of error is minor. Work with this technology is to be performed by a person with the suitable knowledge, experience, know-how of the computer software and production skills. CAD/CAM complements other methods by faster production and lower production costs per final product.
