With the increase in the number of wild ungulates, the damage caused to agricultural land also increases. Important damages are caused by wild boar, deer, roe deer and hare. These animals are also the subject of our overview. Although wildlife has caused damage also previously these game animals have never been recognized as pests which should be controlled, as opposed to harmful insects and various small rodents. Nowadays, disputes over the damage caused by game animals represent a threat to wildlife conservation. The purpose of the work is to determine what kind of damage is caused by wildlife regarding types of agricultural plants and fruit trees, which agricultural plants suffer the greatest damage and what are the successful strategies for the protection of agricultural land (farmland) from wildlife (game animals).
