Obesity is becoming a world wide problem. One of tha main causes for obesity is unhealthy lifestyle which includes unhealthy eating habits, stress and lack of physical activity. The purpose of the research was to find out the importance of physical activity for the loss of body fat. introduce the basic guidelines for participation in different types of physical activities with the aim of body fat loss. We studied the different types of physical activity and their impact on body fat loss. We used the descriptive method and studied different domestic and foreign researches and other resources. We found out that the body fat consumption is dependent on energy processes in the body, which happen before, during and after the physical activity. We found out that these processes can be influenced by changing intensity, type and duration of physical activity. Based on different researches we composed a recommendation for different physical activities for maximal fat loss. We can conclude that the most effective fat loss requires combining different types of physical activities. This paper is practically useful for everyone who has an interest to know the impact of different physical activities on body fat loss.
