Despite membership of Slovenia and United Kingdom in EU, the social security sistems of theese two countries are diverse. United Kingdom recovered from crissis' conseqences in shorter period of time, while Slovenia was experiencing recession for few years. After comparison of economic and social indicators in each country, I came to the conclusion, that in Slovenia social security was more threatened due to the crissis than in United Kingdom. Nevertheless, Slovenia provides higher level of social security than United Kingdom.
