This work presents the process of developing the circuit, with the emphasis on conducted emissions, which fall under the scope of electromagnetic compatibility. The focus of this study is to present a comparison of the simulation results and real measurements performed at the professional measurement laboratory.
A short overview of the field of electromagnetic compatibility, real examples of problems and the applicable standard are given. The overall importance of simulations is discussed. The basic operation of the switching regulator is described and how such regulator adapts the voltage levels. Problems with electromagnetic compliance, which occur in these regulators, as well as some possible solutions are presented. Description of the regulator is followed by an introduction to the simulation environment. The thesis is concluded by description of our work and comment of the results.
