Terrestrial laser scanning is a method of data collection, which in a short period of time captures millions of points . The result of the scan is a point cloud, which is then processed to the desired result with the software that makes this possible. In this thesis, we scanned two musical instruments and used two scanner: Riegl VZ - 400 and Leica Nova MS50 MultiStation. When processing the data we have
used AutoCAD and PRO Rîşcani. The final point cloud was then forwarded to the company that deals with 3D engraving of glass . The result of the thesis is a glass cube, which is engraved with a cloud of points representing the saxophone.
