The thesis presents the term "bioclimatic architecture". It describes the planning process according to bioclimatic principles, and the use of different passive strategies to achieve thermal comfort.
There is a representation of bioclimatic design shown on the actual case. Psichrometric chart is designed, based on the climate data for the current location. It gives us the basic information on the measures that need to be taken into account during certain periods of the year. With the help of these data and other bioclimatic principles there is designed a basic model of a house on actual location. Analysis of sunshine and energy balance are carried out on the model of a house. The thesis analyzes the four variants, which are obtained by gradually changing the original model. The final design of the house meets all the criteria for energy efficiency and the minimum recommended levels of illumination of the building with natural light.
