Aim of this thesis is that finding technical solutions, according to given requirements for inspection control procedure, so we could obtain and consider all relevant measurement results that could have an impact on the final result, when simulating speed values on Doppler measuring systems.
Above all, it is shown with the obtained results an increase of confidence towards metrological institutions and supervisory bodies and also confidence of existing and future customers.
In order to achieve those pursued objectives, we used knowledge based on the technology of Doppler measuring systems for understanding the principle of its operation and values of measured results. We used also knowledge from electrical engineering, mechanics, Visual Basic programming language, measurement techniques and metrological legislation in this area.
Initially, for easier understanding, Doppler measuring system and described in its assembly and its operation, with emphasis on its main component, the Doppler antenna. Later on system was used for obtaining results in existing inspection procedure, so procedure could went through evaluation. Based on the identified weaknesses within the existing procedure, a plan has been designed, set by requirements, for their complete elimination or to marginalize their influence on the end result.
Based on the end results, we now have an improved procedure, which can and be used in a process of inspection control when seeking conformity, within limits of existing metrological legislation rules.
