For the past few years optimization of procedures occures in numerous larger manufacturing systems. The optimization benefits all the participles of the manufacturing process, not only the executive personnel but also the workers. With efficient logistics the products arrive faster and on time, without the accumulation of stock, which requires smaller capacity of the warehouses. All of these benefits bring savings to the company. The products dispatch faster from the manufacturing processes so the order arrives faster and on time to the buyers – wholesale dealers and retail stores, which increases their trust in the production of the company.
Big optimized production systems bring profit through long time period, so the investment pays of. Smaller production systems such as restaurants, bars and craftsmanships are either not familiar with optimization of processes or these techniques do not pay of for their needs.
A prototype application system for optimization purchase-sale system for smaller restaurants and bars was developed for the topic of diploma. This prototype could also be used for any smaller purchase-sale system where the employees are dealing with storing materials or products.
