Today we cannot imagine our lives without a chair. We use it on many different occasions during the day. We begin in the morning having our first coffee, then at work during, lunch, and finally at home resting or having dinner. This thesis presents the development of a dinning chair using Kotler's product development model. The development of Lucca dinning chair is described more specifically. Regarding the response of the market we can assume that the Lucca chair would be well accepted on the market. When a new product is being developed we have to consider the following stages of product development: idea generation, idea screening, concept development and testing, marketing strategy and development business analysis, product development, test marketing and commercialization.
