Numerous governmental economic policies define some frame of control or directly limit business activity. The aim of such governmental regulation is to prevent or break activity of companies or individuals that is in the eyes of public or legislation defined as unfair, unwished, unhealthy or immoral. With such frame the government regulates behaviour of private and public companies. The regulation of activities, which influence environment with the aim of preserving public health and national environment, are gaining important place in the government regulation in USA as well as in all other (developed) countries. Population growth, urbanisation, industrialisation, increased production and use of chemicals in the decades after the Second World War have importantly changed the circumstances. The problem of environment pollution became an important segment of American politics already in the 1960s. The political value of ecology rapidly increases because of the increasing level of ecologic awareness of the population.
