We live in times of automation and optimization of industrial processes. Therefore, any device that replaces a human operator represents an improvement in many regards. The vibrating workpiece-delivery machine provides properly oriented workpieces to the next device for further processing. It is controlled using a microcontroller Mitsubishi Alpha AL2-10MP-D. In my diploma thesis I have described the purpose of the machine, presented the parts it comprises, illustrated the way it operates, and explained the structure and functionalities of the microcontroller program. Only few things in life are perfect, hence, when using the machine, one cannot entirely exclude the possibility of being faced with errors due to dirt in the manufacturing process, which could lead to a material loss. Therefore, the machine could be upgraded with an additional system for detecting the orientation of the workpieces. In such manner, the possibility of error would be practically eliminated.
