New transport means enabled individual to surmount spatial barriers physically and at the same time the process of increasing possibility for moving the body through the space created specific social-cultural 'anti-processes' of controlling the body functioning. The article attempts to show the two-way nature of globalisation processes on the examples of globalisation of tourism and regulation of bodies in some urban areas (city centres, shopping centres). The author uses in this case study the concept of sens escapes, which explains the relations between individual's body and functioning in the space.
