The article examines dating violence as a specific and often overlooked form of intimate partner violence among adolescents and presents the project "Varnost v dvoje." Using the Rapid Assessment Method (RAR), in combination with a literature review, surveys, and collaboration with non-governmental organizations, we identified low awareness and inconsistent understanding of the concept, as well as a clear need for youth-accessible, tailored forms of awareness-raising and support. In response to these findings, we developed the "Varnost v dvoje" project, which is based on the interactive escape room method. The pilot project demonstrated that using an educational escape room method in a pedagogical context can be an effective approach to raising awareness among young people about dating violence. In our case, it encouraged the recognition of violent patterns, strengthened youth's willingness to seek help for themselves and others, and promoted open discussion of this topic. The findings confirm the need for further development of innovative approaches that encourage young people to actively co-create knowledge and drive change.
