The calculation of the one-loop false-vacuum decay rate for a single real scalar field in three and four dimensions is considered. Using a polygonal bounce solution, the DetBounce package was developed to calculate the corresponding quantum corrections. The procedure was validated by comparison with direct numerical integration, analytic thin-wall results, and numerical results for the transition from thin to thick walls. The agreement obtained confirms the reliability of the segment-based approach and its applicability to decay-rate calculations.
