We aim to produce apples sustainably and in an environmentally friendly way, which can be achieved through targeted and purposeful application of plant treatment preparations. To this end, we conducted an experiment using a biostimulant containing the endophytic symbiotic bacterium Paenibacillus polymyxa (product Bactim Endofix) on 'Idared' apple trees. The trial included three treatments: Bactim Endofix (2 l/ha), Bactim Endofix (2 l/ha) + Soya Gold (mineral fertilizer) (0.3 l/ha), and an untreated control. The preparations were applied on 11 May 2025. At harvest on 17 September, we found that both the yield per tree and the yield per hectare were higher in the treatments with endophytic symbiotic bacteria and in the combination of endophytic symbiotic bacteria and Soya Gold fertilizer (where the yield was highest) compared to the control. The preparations had a positive effect on yield under low-temperature conditions. Although the control trees had a higher number of flower clusters, the yield per tree (kg) was greater in the Bactim Endofix and Bactim Endofix + Soya Gold treatments. Fruits from the treated trees were larger and heavier, and flesh firmness was slightly higher than in the control. Bactim Endofix and Soya Gold fertilizer influenced the chlorophyll content in the leaves during the growing season, with the control consistently showing the lowest values. In the Bactim Endofix treatment, the fruits had the darkest and most intense red overcolor, the least yellow, and the most pronounced overall coloration. The results suggest that this could confirm the positive effect of endophytic symbiotic bacteria on trees and their fruits.
