Koordinacijske spojine mangana(II) s piridinmetanoli

Izvleček
Izvedli smo več reakcij med manganovim(II) kloridom (tetrahidratom in dihidratom) in nesubstituiranim 2-, 3- in 4-hidroksimetilpiridinom ob različnih množinskih razmerjih med reaktanti. Izbrane reakcije, ki so pri sobni temperaturi vodile do novih produktov, smo ponovili tudi solvotermalno. Pri tem smo pripravili štiri nove spojine, od katerih ena nastopa v obliki treh polifmorfov; pripravili smo tudi že znano spojino po modificirani sintezni poti in določili kristalno strukturo liganda 4hmp. Spojini 1 in 4 sta enojedrna kompleksa, spojina 2 je že znan dvojedrni kompleks, spojini 3 in 5 sta koordinacijska polimera in spojina 6 pa je ligand 4hmp. Za spojine 1, 2, 4 in 6 smo dodatno izvedli analizo Hirshfeldovih površin. V strukturi spojine 1 se je 2hmp ligand vezal dvovezno kelatno; pripraviti smo uspeli tri polimorfne oblike te molekulske zvrsti. Dvovezna vezava hmp liganda na manganov center je razvidna tudi v strukturi spojin 2 in 3, pri spojini 4 pa se 3hmp ligand veže enovezno preko dušika. V spojini 5 se je 3hmp ligand vezal enovezno preko dušikovega atoma. V vseh strukturah se manjše enote povezujejo med seboj z vodikovimi vezmi tipa O–H⸱⸱⸱O in/ali O–H⸱⸱⸱Cl. Spojin s 4hmp ligandom nam z izbranimi sinteznimi pogoji ni uspelo pripraviti.

Naslov:Coordination compounds of manganese(II) with pyridinemethanols

Several reactions between manganese(II) chloride (tetrahydrate and dihydrate) and non-substituted 2-, 3- and 4-hydroxymethylpyridine were performed, with different molar ratios of reactants. Chosen reactions which led to new compounds at room temperature, were repeated in solvothermal conditions. Four new compounds were prepared, among them, one was identified in three polymorph phases; we also prepared a known compound through a modified synthesis path and determined the crystal structure of the 4hmp ligand: Compounds 1 and 4 are mononuclear complexes, compound 2 is the already known binuclear complex, compounds 3 and 5 are coordination polymers and compound 6 is the crystallized ligand 4hmp. Additionally for compounds 1, 2, 4 and 6, Hirshfeld surface analysis was performed. The 2hmp ligand was coordinated in bidentate chelating manner in the structure of compound 1; we were able to prepare three polymorphs of the aforementioned molecular species. The bidentate chelating manner of hmp ligands was also observed in the structures of compound 2 and 3, while in compound 4, the 3hmp ligand coordinated in a monodentate manner. In all cases, the smaller units in the structure are linked by O–H⸱⸱⸱O or O–H⸱⸱⸱Cl-type of hydrogen bonds (or both). Under the selected synthesis parameters, we were unable to prepare compounds with 4hmp as the ligand.
