The thesis explores the planning and implementation of a five-day mountain camp for preschool children with the aim of developing a structured and feasible model that provides professional and organizational support to preschool educators. The research is based on a case study carried out at Planina pri Jezeru, taking into account children's developmental characteristics, the Curriculum for Kindergartens, and recommendations from mountaineering organizations. Observations and measurements included children’s motor and social activities, the integration of free time and sense of safety. The results show that a well-structured mountain camp is an effective model that encourages children`s independence, perseverance, cooperation and respect for nature. Key factors also include professional collaboration, appropriate organizational planning, and ensuring children’s physical and psychological safety. The camp combines planned activities, free play and reflection, contributing to the holistic development of children.
