This diploma thesis addresses the challenge of simplifying and automating human
resource recruitment in Slovenia. The proposed solution involves the implementation
of a comprehensive HR management system. At the core of the system is a mobile
application designed to resolve frequent ambiguities encountered by candidates, such
as issues regarding missing documentation and payslips. These ambiguities often
lead to frustration for both candidates and HR professionals, who are frequently
burdened by repetitive support calls. The solution consists of four segments. The
Project Form is a web-based interface for storing company data (e.g., salaries, job
positions, and competencies). This is followed by a system of project tables, also
web-based, which enables an overview of newly added candidates and triggers the
creation of user accounts. The central segment, the mobile application, displays
work obligations, current employment status (e.g., the status of work permits
at the administrative unit), a documentation archive (contracts, payslips), and
requests (ER-28 forms, credit applications, etc.), while also allowing users to
browse job vacancies and receive notifications. The final segment involves the
management of the application by HR staff, implemented via the Slack API. This
component enables the assignment of duties, modification of employment statuses,
and distribution of documents.
The effectiveness and user experience of the developed system were evaluated
using the standardized UMUX (Usability Metric for User Experience) questionnaire.
Four participants took part in the testing, rating the system with an average score
of 91.41%. The results indicate a high level of usability and intuitiveness. However,
the interpretation of these results must account for certain testing limitations; due
to the small sample size (n=4) and the preliminary nature of the evaluation, the
obtained score serves primarily as an indicator of the system’s potential rather
than a statistically representative measurement for the broader population.
