This article presents an orientation of modern theater that is strongly tied to the concrete social context, using the example of the production of the play Sedem dni (Seven Days) by the well-established theater duo Katarina Morano and Žiga Divjak. The performance, based on an original dramatic text, addresses socially current topics, and a special form of stage speech (the Ljubljana dialect) appears in it, which is mostly predetermined by the written dramatic material.
