The purpose of thesis is to find out how can we reduce the spray drift. Experiment was done out on a flat surface, at a nozzle height of 0.5 m and 0.25 m from the ground and in windless and windy conditions. We created the wind with the help of a hand held petrol sprayer. Wind speed was measured with an anemometer. In addition to the distance of the nozzles from the ground and the wind conditions, we also test different types of nozzles. The first one of nozzle was the standard type Lechler ST 110 03 and two types of special antidrift nozzles, Albuz Awi-Twin 110-03 and Agrotop HiSpeed 110-03. The deposit of the spray slurry was measured with wettable sheets, which were placed 5 m from the last nozzle at a distance of 0.5 m. All measurements were repeated three times. The results showed that the deposit of spray slurry is the lowest at a lower height of the spray bar (0.25 m) and with antidrift nozzles Agrotop HiSpeed. After we finished our task, we conclude that the most appropriate spraying is at height of 0.25 m from the ground in no wind conditions with the use of special antidrift nozzles that can reduce spray drift.
