Prevod in analiza prevoda izbranih poglavij dela Moi Pierre Seel, déporté homosexuel

Magistrsko delo sestoji iz prevoda (iz francoščine v slovenščino) in analize tega prevoda dveh začetnih poglavij pričevanja Pierra Seela, prvega homoseksualnega moškega v Franciji, ki je spregovoril o svoji deportaciji v koncentracijsko taborišče Schirmeck-Vorbüch z naslovom Moi, Pierre Seel, déporté homosexuel. Magistrska naloga se začne s teoretičnim delom, v katerem so poleg nekaj besed o delu in obeh avtorjih predstavljeni najpomembnejši koncepti, povezani s teorijo prevajanja literarnih in drugih besedil, ter razloženi pomeni teh ključnih izrazov. Prav tako so naslovljeni najpogostejši prevajalski procesi in splošni načini reševanja prevajalskih zagat. Drugi del magistrske naloge predstavlja analiza prevoda izbranih poglavij dela, ki obravnava prevodne ravni izbranega besedila: besedilno, morfološko, leksikalno, semantično, skladenjsko, pragmatično raven in slogovno raven. V zaključku so povzete najpomembnejše ugotovitve na osnovi rezultatov prevodne analize. Magistrskemu delu je kot priloga dodan slovenski prevod izbranih poglavij prevedenega dela.

Izvleček

This master's thesis consists of a translation (from French to Slovenian) and an analysis of this translation of the two initial chapters from the testimony of Pierre Seel, the first homosexual man in France to speak about his deportation to the Schirmeck-Vorbüch concentration camp, titled Moi, Pierre Seel, déporté homosexuel. The thesis begins with a theoretical part, in which, alongside a short description of the work and the two authors, the key concepts related to the theory of translation of literary and other texts are presented and explained. The most common translation processes and ways of resolving translation challenges are also addressed. The second part of the master's thesis is an analysis of the translation of selected chapters of the book, analysing the linguistic levels of the chosen text: textual, morphological, lexical, semantic, syntactic and pragmatic levels, as well as the stylistic level. In conclusion, the most important findings based on the results of the translation analysis are summarized. An appendix to the master's thesis includes the Slovenian translation of selected chapters of the book.
