This master's thesis explains the technology of microtunelling in details. We have done a research and check the problems which are cause by daily migrations into the urban areas. In the first part of thesis which is theoretical, we have done a presentation of all separate components with advantages and disadvantages of technology. In the last part of first part we have check in the details and key fact with project design for microtunelling.
The second part of the master's thesis is based on real project which were design and build with GRP jacking pipes. Those two projects were Vilharjeva ulica in Ljubljana and Adamičeva ulica in Rijeka, which were both done in year 2023 and 2024. Both project were very demanding regarding the technical point of view. To prepare the analysis for both projects, we first need to calculate the jacking forces, chose the stiffness of the pipe, determine number of inter jacking stations and prepare the pipe plan. Before the begging of the project, there was also done a static analysis from manufacturer. In our case Hobas.
We have compared the calculated data with real data after the completion of the project. We have come to the conclusion that all the calculations in project design
phase and before the execution of the project were correct. Despite that, the real values were lower than calculated and predicted
