Artificial intelligence is a rapidly developing technology that is becoming an increasingly larger part of modern society. Its use brings numerous benefits, but also opens up new risks that require appropriate regulation. To address such risks, the European Union has adopted the Artificial Intelligence Act, a legislative framework for the safe, fair, and responsible use of AI. Due to the complexity and scope of this document, understanding its content can be challenging for many users. Although summaries and explanations exist, there is currently a lack of interactive tools that would explain the content in natural language, especially in Slovene. This makes it difficult for target users to access the legislation. Therefore, as part of the master's thesis, we developed a conversational robot that enables an interactive explanation of the provisions of the act. The user asks a question in natural language, and the system uses the RAG technique to find relevant information in the act and form an answer based on that information, supported by specific references to relevant units. The main contribution is a web application with a graphical interface for easy communication in the Slovenian language. With this, we contribute to better accessibility of legislation for target users.
