In the thesis, we analyzed and tested cartographic generalization processes within a selected test area around Bled. The analysis was based on the topographic DTM data and other publicly available national datasets for the territory of Slovenia. The cartographic generalization procedures were applied to hydrography, the transportation network, vegetation, and buildings. The analysis of these procedures was carried out using ArcGIS Pro software. The results of the applied cartographic generalization were then compared with the corresponding insert of the DTK25.
