This thesis presents the production of a large-scale paper nautical chart of the Portorož Sports Harbour and the training centre of the Faculty of Maritime Studies and Transport, University of Ljubljana. The aim is to create a technically accurate and navigationally useful chart in accordance with the S-4 standard of International Hydrographic Organization (IHO). The chart is prepared digitally and formatted for A3 landscape printing. It is compiled at 1 : 1,500 scale using the Mercator projection on the WGS84 ellipsoid. The content includes depths, depth contours, seabed type, an underwater pipeline, navigational aids with full light characteristics, and areas with access restrictions. The land area shows piers, slipways, key buildings, and main access routes. The content of the chart is generalised to the scale using standardized techniques, with a focus on clarity and navigational relevance. The final product is intended for training exercises and recreational navigation in the Portorož area.
