When the noise barrier was erected, the Tobačna geodetic network was physically divided into two parts—an external and an internal network. This separation prevented a direct connection between the reference points in the external network and the control points in the internal network, making it more difficult to continue determining the displacements of the control points. As part of the project, we aimed to reconnect these two separate networks by establishing three new tie points, which were stabilised at the top of the noise barrier. These points enable a visual connection between the two networks, thereby allowing the formation of a unified common network. Furthermore, two different adjustment approaches were applied, and the resulting outcomes were compared.
