Adsorption of water from the air is a process that is becoming increasingly relevant in today's world. Since it is a slow process, we want to improve the kinetics and the amount of adsorbed water. To try to solve this problem, I chose diurnal radiative materials. I started with the measurements in the laboratory to obtain some basic data. I continued the measurements outdoors. The efficiency of DSMs is conditioned by the clarity of the sky, since the main goal of DSMs is to cool the surface below the ambient temperature. In the case of clear skies and high RH, we expect up to 40% more adsorbed water, compared to not using them.
