In the thesis, we examined various helicopters suitable for performing helicopter emergency medical services, taking into account the existing hospital heliport infrastructure in the Republic of Slovenia. We focused on three helicopters that best meet European national requirements, the capacities of available heliports, and the practices of neighboring countries. The selected helicopters are the H135, H145, and AW169. The results of our analysis indicate that the H145 is the most suitable aircraft for carrying out such missions, due to its technical performance, cost-efficiency, and overall versatility.
