The relationship between the visible and the semblance/apperance and how referring to the latter with what we see shapes our reality it will be the subject of our interest. In relation to the perception of this reality, we will be interested in how painting, which always questions the question of what is visible in relation to reality, establishes itself in relation to photography and its visual language, and how this relationship between them manifests itself in visuality.
As both mediums through image reveailing how our relationship to visible differ our perception of reality. This one is fundamentally mythicized, it is myths in the first place that allow us to access reality as it appears to us. How does reality given in a certain way, in the image itself, speak about our position towards reality? With the works of Richter and Kiefer, we will see how the view presented in the image can include some reflection on time, the world, its reality and at the same time offer an insight into what defines us. But the confirmation of this visible reality also confirms our existence, the fact that we look around is conditioned by the desire to see, even the shadows of the these mythicized reality must first become visible, reflected in the world of images, in order to be able to recognize them. This is where reality and art come together, it’s where is the room for artistic expression.
