The objective of the thesis is the development of a comprehensive solution for automated testing of installation contactors.
As part of the project, the student will participate in the design, development, and implementation of an automated control cell that enables the execution of various quality and performance tests of contactors in an industrial environment.
The device must support identification of individual contactors, their handling, functional testing, high-voltage testing, manual switching tests, and screw fastening.
The system must also include an HMI (Human-Machine Interface) for monitoring and manual operation, communication with a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), and the capability to record test results in a database.
The thesis will cover requirements analysis, system design, component selection, programming logic in TIA Portal, implementation of the user interface, configuration of sensors and actuators, and testing and validation of the system in a real environment.
