Modern distributed cloud systems are highly complex and dynamic. To enable effective observation, these systems generate large amounts of telemetry data. However, the lack of semantic compatibility and reasoning capabilities often limits their usefulness in understanding and managing the aforementioned systems. This thesis seeks to address these challenges by developing an ontology in OWL, adapted to the data structure of the OpenTelemetry standard, which allows the integration of telemetry data into existing semantic web technologies. The thesis proposes a service that can translate raw telemetry data into RDF triples that conform to the ontology created and enhances the data using an OWL reasoner so that it can be better interpreted and analyzed.
