The final seminar thesis deals with an exhibition of four Slovenian painters - Kostja Gatnik, Metka Krašovec, Lojze Logar and Franc Novinc - which took place in 1970 at the Municipal Gallery of Ljubljana. The exhibition was an important cultural event that marked the beginnings of the artistic paths of these four artists and introduced new artistic ideas in the Slovenian space. The research analyses the context of the exhibition, its impact on the artists and its reception in the media. The focus is on the influence of Western art and cultural currents, especially Pop Art, on the young artists.
